    Information / Sulaymaniyah..
The former member of the Board of Commissioners Saeed Kakai confirmed, on Saturday, that the elections process in the Kurdistan region of Iraq is taking place in an undemocratic manner.
Kakai said in an interview with the "Information" agency, "The elections for the Parliament of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq are paralyzed and do not take place in accordance with legal controls, as the elections are expired and their work is illegal."
He added that "several steps must be taken before starting the election process, the most important of which is changing the staff of the commission, working on legislating a new law, and relying on the information provided by the Iraqi Electoral Commission, because the region's statement is forged."
Kakai indicated that "there is a political party that wants to continue the current mechanism to maintain its interests and the legal violations that enable it to forge."
The Kurdish parties, with the exception of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, refuse to hold elections for the regional parliament without choosing a new commission and changing the current law, with the law of multiple districts. finished/ 25
