    Political analyst Saad Muhammad Al-Kaabi said, on Sunday, that the southern governorates may revolt at any moment due to the deprivation of rights and wealth and the government's continuous attempts to starve, especially after the closure of border crossings and the rise in prices.
    Al-Kaabi said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "closing the border crossings to the entry of goods and foodstuffs into the southern governorates will lead to a popular upheaval that ends with the people's revolt against the government and its measures."
    He added, "All the representatives of the southern governorates confirmed that there are attempts to starve their governorates and marginalize their rights, while the outlets were opened for the entry of foodstuffs from the governorates of Kurdistan, which caused great resentment in the south."
