Southern Iraq region awaits "revolution of projects"
Shafaq News/ The local administration of Al-Tar district, south of Dhi Qar Governorate, announced on Tuesday what it described as a "project revolution" from three government axes worth nearly 30 billion dinars.
The director of the sub-district, Abdul Dhaidan al-Jabri, told Shafaq News Agency, "The administration of the sub-district, through the companies contracting with it by the higher authorities, has started about 13 diversified projects dating back to previous years."
He pointed out that "these projects belong to the Reconstruction Fund, as well as the development of the regions, and the central government, and they include roads, bridges, public services and education."
And he indicated that "these projects amount to approximately 15 billion Iraqi dinars."
Al-Jabri pointed out that "there are projects submitted to the higher authorities for 2022 in the sectors of health, roads, education, bridges and sewage," noting that "the value of these projects reaches nearly 15 billion dinars."
