Earth News/ The Minister of Planning, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, discussed today, Tuesday, with a UN official, supporting the Iraqi government’s efforts in implementing service projects
. A statement by the ministry, received by Earth News, stated that “the minister received the Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services, Mr. Othman Akram, And the accompanying delegation, and during the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between Iraq and the office, especially in the field of supporting the efforts and capabilities of the Iraqi government, in implementing service and investment projects, foremost of which are infrastructure and services projects, and benefiting from the organization’s expertise in contracting with offices and giant consulting companies. In this regard, the Minister of Planning explained, “the policies undertaken by the government, through the five-year national development plan, and the 2030 sustainable development plan, prepared by the Ministry of Planning, which was completed by preparing a plan to recover from the repercussions of the Corona pandemic.”
