A member of the House of Representatives, Basem Khashan, confirmed today, Friday, that the House of Representatives’ vote on the emergency support law for food security and development “will be for nothing,” while stressing that the Federal Court will accept any appeal submitted against the law.

Khashan said in a post on the communication sites followed by / the information /, that "the Federal Supreme Court accepted my appeal against the draft food security law, and issued its decision No. (97 / Federal / 2022) to overrule the approval of the Council of Ministers to refer the law to the Council for a vote."
He added, "All that the House of Representatives did to pass this law was for nothing."
The independent representative explained that "the federal government will accept my appeal and the appeal of any deputy or citizen against the food security law, which included allocations that waste huge funds that can achieve great interests for the people and provide a free and decent life for a greater proportion of the people."
And last Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted on the emergency support law for food security and development
