informed political source revealed, on Tuesday, anticipation for the announcement of prominent deputies in the Sovereignty Alliance headed by Khamis Al-Khanjar to join the Al-Azm Alliance headed by Muthanna Al-Samarrai in the coming days, indicating that the dissidents are disappointed with the orientations of Muhammad Al-Halbousi and Khamis Al-Khanjar towards the Sadrist movement.
The source said, in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "the parliamentary forces in the Sovereignty Alliance are currently discussing with the Resolve Alliance headed by Muthanna al-Samarrai, to join and participate in the Coordination Framework Front after the sudden Sadrist resignation."
He added, "The split in the Sovereignty Alliance is imminent, especially with most of its representatives feeling betrayed by the politics of Muhammad al-Halbousi and Khamis al-Khanjar and their bet on the Sadrist forces that left the camel with what it carried and ended the company without consulting."
The source pointed out that "the situation with the Sovereignty is very difficult, especially with the collapse of the Triple Alliance and its inability to complete what the leaders of the coalition called for, as well as the increase in the number of deputies on the framework side to reach 173 deputies."
