Today, Monday, a member of the Agriculture, Water and Parliamentary Marshes Committee, Ali Al-Badiri, called on the prime minister to come to the parliament with the ministers concerned in the file of disbursing farmers ’dues, in order to inform them of the reasons for not spending so far even though they are governing expenditures that have been included in the budget, holding the Minister of Finance fully responsible for This lag.

Al-Badiri said in an interview with Al-Sumaria News, "The injustice of the peasants and farmers, which constitute 60% of the Iraqi people, we do not know how long it will continue and who will find a solution for it and restore their wasted rights." Farmers are among the crop marketers ruling expenditures, given that the employee is in a state of delay in his salary for a few days, and the situation is disturbed, but the farmers are delaying their dues for months without any solutions. "

Al-Badairi added, "The marketers of the rice crop have not spent their dues since six months until today, just as the wheat crop in which we reached self-sufficiency and we did not find any negligence by farmers in the quantity and quality of the crop, and their slogan became saving the local product," pointing out that "the farmers "Today they are living a real tragedy, and we did not find from the concerned authorities any concern for this suffering and this oppressed class, and every minister blames another minister."

He continued, "The Minister of Finance has become the main obstacle in the failure to pay farmers 'dues," calling on the prime minister to "come to the House of Representatives during this week with the ministers concerned and to clarify the reasons for not paying farmers' dues."
