    Today, Monday, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, discussed with the Ambassador of the United States of America scientific cooperation between the universities of the two countries.


    Education said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that it "received the US Ambassador to Iraq Alina Romanowski and her accompanying delegation, as the two sides discussed areas of scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi and American universities and cultural exchange within the Fulbright Foreign Student Program and the Fulbright Foreign Student Program." The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program.






    The Minister of Education stressed that "the memoranda of understanding between the two countries provided a positive scientific climate for the development of joint expertise, skills, curricula and specialized research, noting that hundreds of Iraqi students studying at American universities and who graduated from them were distributed through scholarships, fellowships, study leave and private expense."

    He explained, "The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is keen on international partnerships, keeping pace with scientific changes, adapting challenges and benefiting from advanced global experiences."


    In turn, Alina Romanowski expressed her "thanks to the Iraqi academic institution's keenness on cultural exchange, proceeding with the development of capabilities and quoting indicators of development in international universities, especially American ones, pointing to the importance of joint coordination in light of the agreement and scientific and academic memoranda of understanding between the two countries."
