The deputy of the coordination framework, Muhammad Saadoun al-Sihoud, confirmed, on Monday, the existence of "serious attempts" to involve the Sadrist movement in the new government or an understanding in the stability of the political process.
Chihod said in a press statement, "Things are heading towards a political solution and stability in the country," noting that "the Sadrist movement's involvement in the administration of the state in order to participate in the formation of the new government."
He added, "The return of parliament sessions and the enactment of laws is a hope for resolving differences and moving forward in completing the constitutional benefits during the next few days."
Chihod indicated that "there is a movement by the political forces to open dialogues to persuade the Sadrist movement to participate in the new government."
