, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, affirmed, on Tuesday, the Parliament's support for the oversight bodies to uncover corruption files and refer them to the judiciary.
A statement by Al-Mandalawi's office, received by Mawazine News, said that "the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, received today, the head of the Financial Supervision Bureau, the agency Raffel Yassin Khudair, in the presence of a number of deputies and advisers."
The statement added, "The First Deputy discussed with the attendees the importance of coordination between the regulatory, judicial and executive authorities, creating an integrative oversight process between the three authorities, strengthening communication between the Audit Bureau and the concerned parliamentary committees, and following more effective mechanisms in monitoring ministries and government institutions."
The statement quoted Al-Mandalawi as saying, "The next stage is a stage of construction and a war against corruption and spoilers, who were and still represent a major challenge and obstacle to any progress that the citizen aspires to." on public money. Ended 29/N33
