Mental health is a fundamental human right and is an integral part of health and well-being that underpins our individual and collective capacities to make decisions, make relationships, and shape the world in which we live.

Under the slogan “Make mental health and safety a comprehensive priority for all,” World Mental Health Day was celebrated on the 10th of October.
This day is considered very important in terms of its concern for the human being and his psychological comfort. It aims to raise awareness, educate and help individuals to enjoy a healthy psychological life, especially after millions of people around the world have been exposed to psychological and mental stress as a result of the outbreak of the pandemic.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Beyond 2019. What is the importance of mental health?

According to the World Health Organization, mental health is a state of psychological comfort that enables a person to face life's pressures, achieve his goals, and serve society in the best possible way.
Mental health affects a person's daily life and this includes social relationships and physical health.
Optimal mental health ensures emotional, psychological and social well-being because it determines how we think, feel and act. They also help determine how we handle stress, interact with others, and make good decisions. In some countries, this day is part of a larger celebration, mental health awareness week. Some tips to take care of mental health and safety

It is noteworthy that the celebration of World Mental Health Day began in 1992 as a result of an initiative byworld federationMental and Mental Health, an organization that includes members from more than 150 countries around the world.

Here are some tips that help to have a good and healthy lifestyle that will positively affect mental health:

• A balanced diet: A balanced diet enhances the energy level and helps the body feel energized. In turn, this can have a profound effect on mental health.
• Exercise: Exercise is as beneficial for the mind as it is for the body. Endorphins and serotonin are released during exercise, which boost mood and also help relieve stress.
• Sleeping better: to maintain a balanced mental health, you must get enough quality sleep. Depression and anxiety, for example, are directly related to lack of sleep.
• Set realistic goals: Define what you want to achieve academically, professionally and personally, and write down the steps you need to achieve your goals. Be realistic and don't overburden yourself. Small accomplishments that you achieve as you progress toward your larger goals can give you a great sense of self-esteem.
• Make time for yourself: Make time to practice your favorite hobbies and projects or expand your horizons. Garden and plant new plants, take swimming or dance lessons, learn to play a musical instrument or learn another language...
• Social Life: People who make time for strong family or social relationships are healthier. Plan activities with family and friends, or find activities where you can meet new people
• Connect with others: Talking to people you trust can help you maintain your mental health. Stay in touch with your loved ones, tell them how you feel and share any concerns you have.
• Try relaxation techniques such as meditation and breathing exercises
