Baghdad / Obelisk: The position of the opposition Sadrist movement still represents the biggest challenge to the Sudanese government, which is waiting for obstacles that must be removed from the path of the new prime minister.
Al-Sudani faces the challenges of controlling street weapons, especially clan conflicts, as well as the demonstrations that regularly erupt in Baghdad and the governorates, and preparing for the upcoming elections.
Al-Sudani's policy may be not to provoke the Sadrists and keep them calm in order to avoid confronting the street.
The Sunni forces set before Al-Sudani the return of the residents of the areas liberated from ISIS to their areas such as Jurf Al-Sakhr, Al-Auja, Yathrib, Al-Owaisat and the villages of Diyala, Aziz Balad and Sinjar.
The fight against corruption is the biggest issue that the Sudanese have to resolve, and in the event of success in this file, he will win the support of the Sadrist movement and demonstrators who want to fight corruption, as they say.
And Aman Al-Sudani, the file of health, electricity and services, especially since mismanagement and corruption are a decisive factor in the imbalance.
The government of Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani won the confidence of Parliament, after a year of tension that reached violence, which puts the forces of the coordination framework in particular and the other forces participating in the government in front of fateful challenges, especially since the Sadrist movement, which did not participate in the government, as well as the demonstrators, are waiting for them, They will take advantage of any shortcomings and shortcomings in order to escalate.
In addition to the Sadrist challenge, and the demonstrations organized by parties opposed to the government, there is a challenge to the relationship between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region related to the situation in Kirkuk and the disputed areas between the two sides, the oil file and its law, and the region’s reluctance to hand Baghdad its share of oil according to the laws of federal budgets, and the region’s financial dues .
Among the inherited challenges is also the dilemma of dilapidated infrastructure across Iraq.
The other challenge is the energy and electricity file.
Academic Aseel Emad believes that Al-Sudani is facing a challenge that differs from the challenges of previous governments, as he is a candidate for a multi-headed bloc, and the first challenges to go ahead are to confront them with the need to change their pattern of thinking based on the fact that his mission is to satisfy them and pass their deals (...).
The observer of Iraqi affairs, Hussein al-Maliki, believes that the Sudanese government will be able to deal with many files, including stopping the waste of public money and fighting corruption, and the Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, intends to visit the Kurdistan Region to discuss the electoral benefits of the Kurds.
And if the framework is the godfather of the formation of the Sudanese government, but the truth is that all the participating forces, Sunni, Kurdish and Shiite, will face the challenges of success, and the events will put all the participating forces and not the framework alone in the test tube.
