Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani affirmed that following up on minor corruption will not distract the government from senior corrupt officials.

Al-Sudani said during his meeting with the advanced cadre in the Ministry of Interior building: "We have a special stand with the senior corrupt officials, and they will be held accountable in proportion to the size of the trust that they neglected," noting that "following up on the minor corruption will not distract us from them."

The Prime Minister added, "The marginalized, tired and poor groups should not be burdened in transactions and disrupted in reviews."

Al-Sudani stressed the need to "make efforts for them and provide answers and facilities to facilitate their demands without delay."
