Shafaq News/ The media office of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani announced, on Sunday, the recovery of more than 300 billion Iraqi dinars from the funds of tax secretariats that were seized as part of what is known as the "theft of the century".
And the office said in a statement today, “In confirmation of what the Prime Minister announced on the twenty-seventh of last November, the second batch of those funds has been recovered, with an amount of 134 billion, 450 million, and 600 thousand dinars,” stressing that these amounts have been deposited. Fundamentally in the open bank account of the Rafidain Bank, the main branch.
