    Al-Arabiya Network revealed, on its English-language page, today, Tuesday, information about the intention of the White House Adviser for Middle East and North African affairs, Brett McGeorge, and his accompanying delegation, to go from the capital, Baghdad, to Israel in the coming hours.
    And the network indicated, according to what it translated (Baghdad Today), that “McGeorg, who is now on a visit that has not been officially announced in advance, visited Jordan and Iraq within 24 hours only, and is expected to head to the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, during the coming hours as part of a tour he is making with the aim of Arranging its papers in the region.
    In the context of talking about the reasons for the unannounced visit, the network clarified that the US administration has become "concerned" about the escalation of differences between the two main Kurdish parties in northern Iraq and the possibility of them turning into an armed conflict between the two parties, while Randa Selim, a researcher at the Institute for Middle East Studies in Washington, confirmed, The Biden administration is trying to "urge the countries of the Middle East" to participate in the upcoming Negev conference to support peace between Israel and Palestine, she said.
    Yesterday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed with the White House Coordinator for Middle East and North Africa relations between Iraq and the United States, and ways to strengthen and develop them at various levels and fields .
    Al-Sudani’s media office said in a statement received by (Baghdad Today) that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani received, White House Coordinator for Middle East and North Africa Affairs, Brett McGurk, an envoy from US President Joseph Biden, where the meeting witnessed the discussion of the overall relations between Iraq and the United States.” the United Nations, and ways to strengthen and develop it at various levels and fields, in a way that serves the interests of the Iraqi and American peoples .
    The Prime Minister added, according to the statement, that "the government has a tendency to open horizons of cooperation with friendly and brotherly countries, in a way that secures the interests of the Iraqi people," stressing that "the ability of our security forces to confront terrorism and establish stability achieved thanks to the huge sacrifices that were made on the land of Iraq ."
    For his part, McGurk affirmed, according to the statement, "his country's support for the success of the current government, and the continuation of the United States to provide advice to the Iraqi forces in their fight against ISIS," reiterating "the US administration's commitment to the strategic framework agreement, and support for the Iraqi government's reforms in the field of energy and infrastructure and confronting climate change ."
    McGurk also conveyed "his country's welcome to the outcomes of the Baghdad/2 conference, efforts to develop joint infrastructure projects between Iraq and its surroundings, and its welcome to the upcoming visit of Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to Washington to hold meetings of the Supreme Coordinating Committee of the strategic framework agreement between the two countries ."
    And the statement continued, "The meeting was attended by the Special Presidential Coordinator for Global Infrastructure and Energy Security, Amos Hochstein, and the US Ambassador to Baghdad, Ms. Alina Romanowski."
