The head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, said yesterday, Monday: There are no red lines in front of the investigative body's procedures, while indicating that the deliberate delay in completing the files is an integral part of corruption.
Hanoun warned, in a statement, that "corruption is a great danger that threatens state institutions and a scourge that can kill institutions and hinder them from accomplishing the tasks for which they were found, especially providing the best services to citizens."
He added, "This scourge is the main reason for the delay in projects and the deprivation of citizens from enjoying their services," noting that "the holy city of Karbala has many investment projects, especially as it has a touristic nature, and work should be done with exceptional vigor and effort, so that the province is clean and free of corruption."
Hanoun pointed out the need to "accelerate the completion of corruption files in cooperation with the judiciary, and to make every effort to investigate and provide evidence to the judiciary, so that the latter can issue appropriate rulings."
And the head of the Integrity Commission warned that the policy of rotation and the infusion of new blood into leadership positions contributes to the development of work and allows some staff to take their role and go through a new experience that enables them to jump in the level of work of the institution, urging work to investigate the funds of officials and follow up the size of their money and real estate that Leading to the submission of some of them to the judiciary on charges of inflated funds and illegal gain.
He pointed out that the inflation file helped the commission a lot by bringing the corrupt to justice, who were not brought before it. Because of their experience in concealing evidence of their corruption and abuse of public money.
