The Parliamentary Services and Reconstruction Committee announced, on Monday, the formation of a committee to follow up the rise in unit prices in residential complexes, while it indicated that 19 bridges will be implemented in Baghdad.
A member of the committee, Baqir Al-Saadi, said, "There are bridge projects in Baghdad, and many works will be implemented in the center of the capital, specifically in Abi Nawas, Karrada and Jadriya Streets," stressing that "bridge projects in Baghdad reach approximately 19 bridges, and their projects will be implemented after the launch of the budget." .
Regarding the high prices of units in residential complexes, Al-Saadi stated that "a committee was formed by the Investment Authority to follow up on this issue," adding that "the prices per square meter range from $1,000 to $1,500, and in some of them reach $2,000, which is a price that harms the Iraqi citizen."
