Parliamentary Investment Committee reveals reasons for rising housing unit prices
• Today 13:00

Information / Baghdad..
Today, Monday, the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Investment Committee, Hussein Al-Saabari, identified the most important reasons for the rise in prices of investment housing units throughout the country.
Al-Saabri told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The investor's failure to adhere to economic feasibility led to an increase in prices, indicating that the lack of monitoring and accountability also led to an increase in housing units."
He added, "Investment agencies, whether national or in the governorates, did not follow up and monitor the different figures between reality and economic feasibility."
He pointed out that "there is clear laxity on the part of investment bodies in punishing or warning investors."
He added, "Granting an investment license is subject to the approval of 14 government departments. Therefore, the investor's failure to obtain a contract from the Ministry of Finance opens the way for investors to raise prices." End / 25 H
