    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]The Iraqi government approved the recommendation of the Energy Ministerial Council to extend the validity of a memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi and Kuwaiti oil ministries regarding the common border fields for a period of two years, starting from the 6th of next September.

In its regular session, the Council approved the recommendation of the Energy Ministerial Council to transfer the second phase of the gas drying project in the Al-Gharraf oil field to a consortium of the Oil Projects Company / Ministry of Oil and the Italian company, PEG , for an amount exceeding $320 million.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, while presiding over the session, valued "the work of the ministries during the blessed month of Ramadan," noting that "it was the first month that did not witness a security breach, in addition to the fact that the holy month was marked by the highest number of hours in supplying electric power," according to a statement. For the Information Office of the Prime Minister.

Al-Sudanese stressed the need for ministries to "not delay in providing the concerned committees with implementation indicators, so that they can stand on strengths and weaknesses."

The Council of Ministers agreed that the Ministry of Commerce should take the necessary measures to destroy the quantities of wheat (unfit for human consumption).

After many years of delay, the Council of Ministers ended the land crisis over which the Al-Shaab International Stadium was built, by agreeing to allocate the stadium's real estate to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Concerning Iraqi citizens in the Republic of Sudan, the Prime Minister directed the competent authorities to make every effort to evacuate our citizens, and to ensure their security as a result of the deteriorating security situation there.

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs had called on the Iraqis in Sudan to gather in the "Manshiya" area located on Omak Street near the United Nations headquarters at the MNT company, to evacuate them.

And she said in a statement that the departure time for the transport buses will be today, Wednesday (April 26, 2023), at 6:00 am, heading to Port Sudan.[/rtl]
