    Baghdad today-Baghdad
Today, Thursday, oil expert Bahjat Ahmed revealed concern and annoyance that foreign oil companies operating in the Kurdistan region began to experience, indicating that they had begun to put pressure on the regional government because of the unknown date for the consumption of oil exports and its continuation until now.
Ahmed said in an interview with "Baghdad Today", that "the oil companies began to press with the aim of ending the current situation and determining the fate of their investments in the oil field inside the Kurdistan region."
He added that "those companies threatened to take legal measures and resort to the courts in the event that they continued to stop working, since all companies are currently suspended except for Kar Company, and the companies' expenses decreased by half."
About 45 days have passed since the suspension of the export of Kurdistan's oil through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, while Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani recently revealed that negotiations are continuing with the Kurdish side regarding the financial account and the mechanism for obtaining and disposing of funds , in addition to negotiating with the Turkish side to resume pumping oil.
