Finance obliges its departments and agencies to adopt {POS} devices

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Ministry of Finance obligated government departments and affiliated institutions to adopt (POS) devices and to generalize the experience to include various economic and societal sectors.
This came during a meeting held by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Masoud Haidar, and the Chairman of the Electronic Payment Committee (pos), with the directors of departments, banks and departments concerned with implementing the electronic payment points project.
Masoud explained, in a statement, the importance of applying the (POS) system in the field of economic activity and efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, stressing the inclusion of all bodies and companies affiliated with the ministry who have collection or have delivery or receipt of money, by applying the (POS) system, in addition to working on Removing obstacles to initiating the optimal application
for the system.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Finance is moving towards providing all the necessary facilities to grant electronic selling devices (POS) in state institutions and the private sector for free, at zero percent interest, for a period of 6 months, in addition to providing technical and logistical support and various software supporting the project, as well as training cadres working in this field.
