    Today, Wednesday (July 26, 2023), the Federal Integrity Commission urged to contribute to the success of the campaign to report money inflation, during a panel discussion that discussed the delay in completing administrative investigations and following up the performance of service departments.
    A statement of integrity, received by "Baghdad Today," said, "The Commission held a panel discussion to highlight its work tasks and the obstacles facing its investigators during the investigation of corruption cases, and its endeavors and efforts to monitor the performance of state institutions to ensure that the best services are provided to citizens."
    The statement added, "The seminar, which was held by the Commission's Investigation Office in the holy city of Karbala, at the local administration hall in the province, in the presence of all department directors therein and officials of their legal departments and divisions, reviewed issues and obstacles facing the work of the Commission's investigation office, especially with regard to the delay in completing administrative investigations and the presence of legal representatives, urging speed in answering the books and correspondences of the office and cooperating with field teams and monitoring teams composed of in it.”
    The symposium shed light, according to the statement, on "the mechanism for reporting administrative and financial corruption crimes, and contributing to the success of the campaign to report inflated funds and illegal gain, calling on all members of the governorate's departments to take the initiative in reporting cases of corruption," noting that "the commission guarantees the rights of informants and witnesses and maintains the confidentiality of whistleblowers."  
    According to the statement, "the participants in the symposium raised problems, obstacles, and proposals that hinder their work, and presented some questions and inquiries regarding the investigations conducted by the Commission's teams, and some of the topics that were raised in the symposium, while the director of the Karbala Investigation Office, his assistant, and officials of the investigation and legal divisions in the office answered those inquiries and reviewed some of the Commission's work outputs and achievements in the year 2022."
