    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq Today:

The representative of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Mueen Al-Kazemi, revealed the reasons for the decline in the price of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, while identifying the alternative for foreign labor in the country.[/rtl]

[rtl] Al-Kazemi said, in a press statement, that: "The important factor for the decline in the price of the dollar is the simplification of the central bank's procedures in front of Iraqi merchants, indicating that they have begun to resort to the currency window And do not go to the black market, which leads to a great momentum, and as a result, the price of the dollar is rising.” [/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The procedures for granting sums to Iraqi travelers have also been simplified, instead of the existing situation that must be dealt with by the Central Bank."[/rtl]
[rtl] And Al-Kazemi pointed out: “There is a problem that must be addressed with the US Federal Bank, and it is regarding the countries from which the Iraqi merchant imports, and remittances are not granted to those countries, stressing the need to address this problem as it is a national interest for the Iraqi people to continue importing.” [/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Kazemi stated that: “These basic matters and some other technical matters must be taken into consideration by the Central Bank and the government, calling for simplifying tax matters that can be deducted by the Central Bank instead of reviewing the tax departments and entering into complex routines, indicating that these matters must be resolved by consulting the private sector, which is at the root of the problem, and thus appropriate solutions can be reached for this issue. [/rtl]
[rtl]As for foreign labor and its role in the rise in the exchange rate, Al-Kadhimi stated, “Foreign labor has nothing to do with the rise in the exchange rate, rather it causes unemployment for the Iraqi labor force,” noting that the Ministry of Labor and the government have the responsibility to address this matter by creating a social security law. for the Iraqi workforce. [/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Kazemi suggested: "Finding alternatives to foreign labor, which is the employment of young people instead of half a million foreign workers, provided that the tasks are performed as required by the local labor."[/rtl]
[rtl] Al-Kadhimi concluded by saying: “If we want to eliminate foreign labor, national labor must be a suitable alternative in terms of performance, efficiency and cost.”[/rtl]
