Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani affirmed, on Thursday, the government's desire to provide an opportunity for Malaysian companies to contribute to the construction of infrastructure.
Al-Sudani's office stated in a statement, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani received, today, Malaysian Foreign Minister Zambri Abdul Qadir and his accompanying delegation," noting that "the meeting witnessed discussions of the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop partnership, for the benefit of the two peoples." In addition to discussing cooperation in the fields of tourism, religious tourism, diplomatic development, industry and agriculture.
The Prime Minister referred to "a number of cultural commonalities and close positions that bring the two countries together," stressing "the government's desire to provide an opportunity for Malaysian companies to contribute to development and infrastructure construction, and more economic cooperation and facilities provided to Iraqi students on scholarships to Malaysia."
