Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, supervised the implementation of the health support plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (PBUH), while stressing the importance of providing all needs and the readiness of ambulances to transport any emergency.
A statement by the Ministry, received by Al-Maaloumah, said, “The Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, arrived in the holy governorate of Karbala, accompanied by a ministerial delegation from the Ministry’s center, to supervise personally and on the field from the field operations center near the Noble Sanctuary on the implementation of the health support plan for the visit of the fortieth of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). ".
The statement added, "The minister was briefed upon his arrival on the spread of medical detachments and the progress of work, while he conducted an inspection visit to a number of health institutions to find out about the health services provided to visitors."
The minister stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of providing needs, preparing ambulances to transfer any emergency, and the readiness of surgical teams to intervene urgently, as well as awareness campaigns, health education, and food control provided to visitors to ensure their safety."
