    Information / Baghdad..
The government spokesman, Basem Al-Awadi, denied the government's intention to postpone the provincial elections in Kirkuk, indicating that Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani will hold a meeting with the State Administration Coalition to re-introduce the file of the advanced headquarters.
Al-Awday said in a televised interview, followed by Al-Maalouma, that "the investigative committee that was formed in Kirkuk reached important results, and that all parties that opened fire on the demonstrators will be punished, and the investigation will not be subject to a statute of limitations."
He added, "The events of Kirkuk are directly linked to the imminent local elections, but the elections will not be postponed for any reason."
He pointed out that "Al-Sudani entered into a lengthy dialogue with the deputies of Kirkuk, listened to their opinions, and will hold a meeting with the State Administration Coalition to re-introduce the file of the advanced headquarters."
He continued, "The government will have a position on the personalities that invest state funds in the electoral campaign, because the election campaign was a decisive factor and worsened the situation in Kirkuk."
Kirkuk witnessed turbulent conditions after crowds of supporters of Barzani's party attacked the sit-in and set fire to cars, in addition to encroaching on military convoys. End 25
