[ltr]Here is a report on the video presentation by Sudani. When the Central Bank dealt with a previous decision that was not studied, he refers to the time when the exchange rate was dropped to 1450. That was an ad hoc decision which he sought to correct, and we all know he's not done yet. I laugh when he speaks of cooperating with the Iranian central bank so to break the back of the market exchange rate. It was Iranian smuggling of dollars that infected the market in the first place. If click the link you hear a short video in Arabic, but this report relays the complete message.[/ltr]

[ltr]He added, "I said at the meeting of the state administration that what is happening is your political commitment and otherwise reflected on the citizens," noting that "the problem in Kirkuk is not security, but political, and the investigative committee to identify the shooters in the events of Kirkuk is continuing its work."[/ltr]

[ltr]On the recent US military movements, Al-Sudani said that "it was an operation to replace the forces in Syria, one brigade with another brigade, and a movement in the bases in Iraq, which includes advisers, all subject to the approval of the Iraqi government," stressing that "there is no movement of forces present without the knowledge of the Iraqi government," noting that "the visit of the security delegation to Washington was very successful and we got important information for the locations of ISIS leaders in Iraq and they were targeted," pointing out that "our philosophy is to strike ISIS and not wait and attack it." everywhere and we targeted the ISIS command center in the Anbar desert."[/ltr]
[ltr]He stressed that "Iraq does not need any foreign combat forces and we announced it explicitly, and we are part of any international effort to fight ISIS, and the Iraqi-American Joint Committee will hold its meeting in mid-September to determine the shape of the relationship with the international coalition."[/ltr]
[ltr]On the railway link projects with Iraq, the Prime Minister said, "We will not agree to the railway link with any country to transport goods without completing the Faw port project and the development road, and my position is fixed, and the Iraqi state is serious about putting the development road and the Faw port projects into practice and the railway link with Iran is to transport passengers," pointing out that "the Minister of Transport is discussing in Saudi Arabia the file of rail link to transport Iraqi travelers and pilgrims."[/ltr]
[ltr]He pointed out that "the projects of the Great Corridor and the Silk Road have no corridor inside Iraq and the development road is the best, shortest and least expensive for transportation and transit has been created by Iraq and there was no seriousness in the implementation of the Faw port project for the past years and today we are part of the economic corridors of the world," pointing out that Iraq "establishes industrial cities along the development road and that the industrial city in the Master Plan in the Faw port project is the largest industrial city in the Middle East."[/ltr]

[ltr]"The development road is the shortest and least expensive to transport goods between East and West, and technical discussions are continuing, and we have fixed the path of development, and we started the step of going to a global consultant, and within two weeks the discussions will be resolved to implement the project and the project has not been implemented in Iraq and the region previously," he said.[/ltr]
[ltr]Al-Sudani went on to say that "the previous budgets did not go to infrastructure and our government vision is directed to infrastructure and service effort entered areas not entered by service departments years ago and we now have 963 lagging projects after it was 1453 and 40 percent of the suspended school projects have been completed and there will be 3 hospitals in Baghdad equipped with the latest equipment, all of which have been disabled since 2012 and the completion of projects to break bottlenecks that exceed 25 projects in Baghdad will change the reality of the capital," noting that "Baghdad "I haven't seen any bottleneck project since the eighties and services will clearly improve."[/ltr]
[ltr]The Prime Minister pointed out that "all the details of the process of processing fertilizers from contracts and ending with the farmer is marred by corruption and does not reach those who deserve it, and we have taken a decision regarding sprinkler irrigation and we launched the import of fertilizers and there will be a review next October of the prices of receiving the wheat crop and directed to increase it," pointing out that "Iraq went through the most successful agricultural season in its history and we have a year-long store of wheat."[/ltr]
[ltr]On the exchange rate of the dollar, Al-Sudani said that "the dollar is linked to many sectors and cannot be dismantled, and the banking and financial sector has not witnessed any reform process since 2003, and the Central Bank dealt with a previous decision that was not studied when reducing the current dollar exchange rate, and Iraq's trade is now reliable and is real."[/ltr]
[ltr]He added, "The Iraqi and Iranian central banks are working on a mechanism to regulate trade and break the back of the parallel market," noting that "the tobacco trade has zero revenues, despite being the strongest trade and we have real reforms for the financial sector and the teams are working in that matter and the banks that prevented their dealings in dollars were supposed to be punished by the Central Bank and there is an American understanding of all the measures taken on reforms from Iraq."[/ltr]
[ltr]On anti-corruption efforts, Al-Sudani said that "commitment to combating corruption is a practical reality and not within the promises and will to combat corruption exists and there are no red lines in front of any file and investigation committees are formed with all the news and appeals related to corruption and all the news of members of parliament on corruption files in which we have an investigation and our procedures to combat corruption are professional," noting that "the principle of recovering funds and wanted persons has become a reality and countries have begun to respond to Iraq and for the first time the corrupt feel that they are hunted and will not protect citizenship and our relationship with countries "It depends on responding to this file, and that many of those wanted abroad have started to call, and some have turned themselves in."[/ltr]
[ltr]The prime minister revealed that "the fourth license is about to be submitted to the Council of Ministers."[/ltr]
[ltr]On the crisis of the salaries of the employees of the Kurdistan region, the budget of the region, the Sudanese said: "There is no budget law to finance the salaries of the region's employees, but the share of Kurdistan and they are obliged to implement the tripartite budget law and there are difficulties in implementing it," stressing that "the region has no surplus funds and the issue of the region's salaries is a moral national entitlement towards our citizens in Kurdistan."[/ltr]
[ltr]He explained that "the Council of Ministers is not prerogatives of bypassing the law, but we can grant loans, and the parliament asked yesterday the ministers of finance of the center and the region, and we will alleviate the crisis and the suffering of the citizens of the Kurdistan region."[/ltr]
[ltr]On the drug file, the prime minister described "drugs as the first threat facing Iraq and most of our borders face smuggling, and we have set the goal of confronting the phenomenon of drugs by targeting traffickers who have moved to the stage of establishing drug factories."[/ltr]
[ltr]"We seized tons of drugs and arrested many traffickers, and the judiciary contributed to resolving many cases, and the battle of drugs needs the solidarity of everyone, and we are currently conducting a legal review to discuss two options, either establishing an independent anti-drug agency or establishing a special agency at the Ministry of Interior to combat drugs," he said.[/ltr]
[ltr]"There are institutions concerned with addiction treatment and five centres have been established," al-Sudani said.[/ltr]
[ltr]He stressed that "the State Administration Coalition confirmed that the local elections will be held on time, and we have allocated funds and spent for these elections, and we want an elected council representing the people of the province to supervise the distribution of financial allocations."[/ltr]
