The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, confirmed today, Monday (September 25, 2023), that there are those who want to hold the region accountable for demanding its rights, while pointing out that “loyalty and tyranny” do not go together.
Barzani said during his speech to announce the prosperity project in the region, followed by “Baghdad Today”: “We were and are still trying to live together in peace, and we will continue on this path.”
He added, "Loyalty and tyranny do not coexist. There must be love, justice, and equality for all components, and some still believe that the region must be held accountable for demanding its rights."
He continued, "All our attempts were for our people to live with their heads held high, and I reassure everyone that strengthening the private sector and cooperating with it is one of our most important steps."
