Al-Sudani reiterated, according to a statement by his media office, Iraq’s principled position on the Palestinian issue, and the importance of urgent action to support the Palestinian people, who are being subjected to blatant aggression, a full-scale war crime, and an attempt at genocide, after the Zionist occupation authorities went too far and went too far in targeting safe civilians.
The Prime Minister referred to the brutal bombing that took place on Tuesday evening, the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, causing the death and injury of hundreds of children and women, in a heinous crime that violated all conventions and international humanitarian law, calling on the international community, parliamentary and political institutions and bodies to come to the rescue of the oppressed Palestinian people, empower them and fully guarantee them. As for the government’s official spokesman, Bassem Al-Awadi, he said in a statement: “While good efforts from all parts of the world are working to achieve a ceasefire in the occupied Palestinian territories, provide relief to the afflicted among our Palestinian people, and alleviate the burden of the hideous attack carried out by the Zionist occupation forces, news comes. To bear the features of a complete war crime, and for these forces to commit a massacre in the utmost renunciation of all moral and humanitarian obligations, by bombing the Baptist Hospital in the middle of the occupied Gaza Strip, causing the martyrdom of hundreds of children, women, and the injured and injured.”
He added, "The Zionists have thus gone far in crossing all borders and red lines, in an aggression that extends to their shameful past in committing the massacres from Qana, Sabra and Shatila, all the way to their present heinous crime," and he continued, "The burden of responsibility has risen on the international community and on every observer." He sees these transgressions on the part of the Zionists, and the entire world is called upon to do more than denounce and deplore, in order to stop the Israeli death machine that targets civilians, while it is delusional that by doing so it will liquidate the Palestinian cause.”
He concluded by saying, "Just as we call on our Arab brothers, friendly countries, and the free world, to adopt a unified position by issuing an urgent and immediate resolution from the UN Security Council to stop this ugly, blatant aggression."
The government spokesman announced, "General mourning throughout the Republic of Iraq for three days, out of loyalty and honor to the innocent souls who fell victim to international silence before they fell victim to the barbaric fire of aggression."
Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani also directed employees and students throughout Iraq to stand in solidarity with the victims of Al-Maamdani Hospital in Gaza.
Emergency conference
In addition, the President of the Arab Parliamentary Union, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, said in his speech yesterday, Wednesday, during the thirty-fifth emergency conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union to discuss developments in the situation in Gaza: We “meet today under an exceptional and unprecedented circumstance, as the Zionist entity The usurper publicly revealed his brutal, racist, criminal face, and his blatant violation of human rights, and of all moral, human and religious values and universal justice among all human beings, regardless of their colours, races, religions and affiliations.”
He added, "Our national, Arab and Islamic duty, as parliamentarians representing our peoples and their hopes and aspirations, requires us today to join hands and work together to take a firm and effective collective stance to curb the bloody Israeli entity and hold it accountable for the consequences of its barbaric actions and practices against a defenseless people who cling to their identity, culture and land," pointing out “The current situation threatens to drag the entire Arab region into the furnace of a destructive war, in which statements of condemnation and denunciation will be of no use. Rather, it requires taking decisive decisions that put a final end to the ongoing attacks and violations by the Zionist entity for seven decades.”
Al-Halbousi called on “the international community and the free global conscience to intervene immediately to stop the war, military actions, and horrific massacres against our Palestinian brothers,” stressing “the necessity of working immediately to bring in urgent humanitarian, food, and medical aid.”
He concluded by saying: “In this emergency meeting and in these exceptional circumstances, I cannot help but highly value the sacrifices and steadfastness of the brotherly Palestinian people,” stressing that “the radical solution to this chronic conflict lies in the Palestinian people restoring all of their inalienable rights, most important of which is the right to establish their Palestinian state.” Independent State, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

He added, "It is a shame for the world that this crime goes unaccounted for," strongly condemning "the attacks carried out by the occupying entity against the besieged people of Gaza, and its blatant violation of all international conventions, treaties and resolutions, and the principles of human rights and morals," calling on "the international community to take urgent action to end The barbaric Zionist aggression according to a just solution that guarantees the Palestinian people their right to establish their state on all of their lands, including Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine, and guarantee the independence and sovereignty of this state.”
Al-Mandalawi stated, “The Arab and Islamic countries must strive by all means of pressure and force to lift the brutal siege, deliver humanitarian and health aid, and stop the most horrific violations practiced by the occupation authorities against our Palestinian brothers,” calling on “the Arab and Islamic countries who have diplomatic or commercial relations with the occupying entity.” To review these relations, which have made this entity more stubborn and arrogant and weakened the unified position towards the Palestinian issue.

He rejected the standards of justice being distorted according to subjective standards, saying that this is the case. It is a shame that stigmatizes any organization that claims to consider human rights, achieve justice, redress the oppressed, and hold criminals accountable.
Yesterday, Wednesday, all state departments, universities and schools throughout Iraq witnessed a stand of solidarity and mourning for the victims of Gaza and the bombing of Al-Baptist Hospital. The regions and neighborhoods of Baghdad and the governorates also witnessed mass stands in which thousands of Iraqis participated in solidarity with Palestine and denouncing the massacres of the Zionist occupation in Gaza.
