    The South Korean Customs Administration revealed today, Thursday, that Iraq ranked fifth as the largest exporter of oil to South Korea during the month of September 2023.
    The administration's latest statistics, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, showed that Iraq was the fifth largest exporter of oil to South Korea during the month of September, with 6.791 million barrels, a decrease of 1.5% compared to last August, in which exports amounted to 6.896 million barrels, a decrease of 35.9%. For the same period of 2022, during which exports amounted to 10,587 million barrels.
    She added that the quantity of Iraqi crude oil exported to South Korea during the past nine months (January to September) of the current year 2023 amounted to 64.927 million barrels, an increase of 0.1% over the same period of the year 2022, when these quantities reached 64.882 million barrels.
    The administration also indicated that Saudi Arabia came in first place as the largest exporter of oil to South Korea last September with a quantity of 30.450 million barrels, followed by the UAE with a quantity of 12.201 million barrels, then Kuwait came third with a quantity of 8.954 million barrels, and then the United States of America came fourth with a quantity of 8.076 million barrels. barrel.
    It showed that Qatar came fifth with an amount of 6.016 million barrels, Mexico came seventh with an amount of 5.970 million barrels, Brazil came eighth with an amount of 2.227 million barrels, then Australia came ninth with an amount of 2.039 thousand barrels and finally Algeria came tenth with an amount of 1.042 thousand barrels.
    According to the administration, “The amount of South Korean imports of crude oil from the top ten countries in September amounted to 85.115 million barrels, an increase of 13.0% compared to last August, in which the amount of imports reached 75.332%.”
