Development in the industrial, technological, medical, scientific, agricultural, or other economic fields requires the perpetuation and growth of what exists, and this growth is guaranteed by new inventions, which drive the economy in general due to their reflection on the overall economic reality of the country.
It provides solutions and developments to scientific, technical, industrial, agricultural, or other problems facing any economic field. In our country, which suffers from the backwardness of the economic reality due to slow growth, limited modernization in its structure, excessive dependence on the export of a rentier commodity (crude oil), the backwardness of the national industry, and the declining role of local agriculture, in addition to the backwardness of other economic fields and activities. Comes the role of local patents created by some talented people, researchers or students in various fields of science, which, if properly invested and employed in reality, can contribute to increasing the process of economic development, whether in the fields in which they are applied or on the economic level in general. All countries of the world It works to encourage scientific innovations that can be applied practically in order to develop and develop the multiple fields that invest in these innovations, as well as private sector companies, investors, charities, or individuals in general who can provide financial support to innovators in order to encourage and support them financially at the beginning of their path so that they can Disseminating their innovations that benefit society and applying them practically, and then reaping the fruits of these innovations economically. It represents a source for increasing the growth of the national economy by generating new job opportunities and achieving financial gains that result from the applications of these innovations, whether when selling the product locally or abroad by exporting it in the future, which is what happened to many. Among the innovations that have been paid attention to, encouraged and supported. Work can be done to form a body or institution that specializes in caring for innovators, researchers, scientists, innovators, and students who present inventions that can contribute to developing the reality of the economy in Iraq in general, whether in the fields of industry, agriculture, electricity, irrigation regulation, and benefiting from modern water management and conservation methods, or in the field of Environmental protection, or in the field of construction and construction, or in the field of improving services, or in the field of medicine, and improving health services provided to citizens, or in the field of technology, developing existing ones and inventing what is new and keeping pace with the innovations of the current era, or in the field of communications, and improving the reality that we are witnessing in our country, or in the field of Protecting the environment and innovating means and mechanisms to preserve it and reduce pollution, or in the field of innovating modern technology with regard to oil energy sources in order to improve and increase energy supply to citizens, or in the field of computers, developing their software and practical applications, and other important fields that contribute in one way or another to improving the Iraqi economy. Which is witnessing backwardness compared to what is witnessed by the economies of many developing and developed countries in the world, which encouraged scientific research and gave it the importance it deserves, which reflected positively on their economic reality and achieved great economic gains for them in addition to multiple achievements that could not have occurred due to their interest in developing scientific research, researchers and innovators.
