He added, “This process requires a completion period of up to six months, in addition to the fact that the Ministry has a large cadre of enumerators, including teachers, approximately 130,000 enumerators and field researchers, and they will be trained in special courses.” A pilot census was conducted in several specific areas of each governorate to determine the Ministry’s capabilities and capabilities to test these capabilities and address errors that may appear during the census.”
He continued, “The enumeration and numbering process, which represents the backbone of the population census in Iraq, requires a period of time to be conducted, amounting to about two to three months.” A national data center was also established, in addition to providing satellite images to administrative units at the governorate, district, and district levels.”
He added: “These steps were included in a detailed plan with specific time frames, with the aim of working to implement them in cooperation with all agencies, ministries and governorates, and also in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund, as there are countries that have expressed their willingness to support the efforts of the Ministry of Planning in implementing the census, and therefore we hope that “All these requirements are completed and fulfilled, and the long-awaited census is implemented.”
