    The index measures the lack of adaptive capabilities, coping capacity, extent of vulnerability, vulnerability, and likelihood of exposure to risks. The report analyzes the relationship between disaster risks and dimensions of diversity such as age, gender, health, and social background. The report identifies paths for more comprehensive disaster management.



    The report includes a statistical model that assesses the inherent risks of 193 countries falling victim to a humanitarian disaster resulting from extreme natural events and the negative effects of climate change. It is based on more than 100 high-quality indicators related to exposure to extreme natural events.
