[rtl]Basra / NINA / The Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, Farhan Al-Fartusi, today, Tuesday, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq, Peter Štebank, and his accompanying delegation, conducted a field tour of the Al-Faw Grand Port project, to review the details of the project and the construction stages.
Al-Fartusi said, according to a company statement, “The large port of Al-Faw in particular, and the strategic projects implemented by the General Company for Iraqi Ports, have become the focus of attention of the whole world, as delegations of major companies and diplomatic missions are received in Iraq due to their desire to learn about these projects.”
While the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Peter Štebank, said: “I am very happy to learn about the details of the Al-Faw Grand Port project, which is one of the most important projects that contribute to securing the economic stability of Iraq and bear fruit for the region as a whole.”
He pointed out that there are plans to participate in the development road project, and this matter was discussed with the Minister of Transport, pointing out that “this issue will be one of the first topics that will be discussed by the Czech-Iraqi committee, which will be held next month in Prague, where there will be discussions with the Iraqi Minister of Industry.” And his Czech counterpart.”/ End[/rtl]
