The media advisor to the Prime Minister, Hisham Al-Rikabi, confirmed today, Sunday, that time periods will be set to ensure the smooth withdrawal of the international coalition, while noting that Iraq has experience that no one in the world has in confronting terrorism.

Al-Rikabi said in an interview with the “Twenty” program broadcast by Al-Sumaria Channel, “The first meeting of the first military committee between Baghdad and the international coalition resulted in the formation of three teams, the first examining the challenges and threats of ISIS, situational requirements, and strengthening the capabilities of our security forces.”

He added, "Time periods will be set to ensure the smooth flow of the coalition's withdrawal, and there is a vision among the Iraqi government that our forces are capable of maintaining stability," stressing that "there is no need for the presence of the international coalition."

Al-Rikabi believed that "the factions' strikes against American bases are a natural reaction as a result of the genocide taking place in Gaza," but he stressed "the government's commitment to protecting diplomatic headquarters and missions in Iraq."

The Prime Minister's advisor continued, "Iraq has experience that no one in the world has in confronting terrorism, especially after its war against ISIS," and Al-Rikabi concluded by emphasizing that "the army's armament map is not limited to a specific country."
