    [size=45]Director of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, Farhan Al-Fartusi, announced that the number of ships that used commercial and oil ports for the month of January reached 370 ships, and he added that the percentage of revenues from Iraqi ports for the same month exceeded 74.5 billion dinars.[/size]

    The number of import ships that docked in Iraqi ports during the same period reached (167) ships, while the number of export ships reached (203) ships.[/size]
    [size=45]The volume of revenues in Iraqi ports witnessed a significant increase during the month of January compared to the same month of the previous year.[/size]
    [size=45]The northern port of Umm Qasr achieved revenues exceeding (31) billion Iraqi dinars, while revenues from the port of Khor Al-Zubair amounted to (14.2) billion dinars.[/size]
    [size=45]The southern port of Umm Qasr achieved (6.2) billion dinars, while the port of Abu Flus achieved (825) million dinars.[/size]
    [size=45]Port revenues from pilotage, escort, mooring, take-off, and connecting group services at oil ports amounted to more than (22) billion dinars.[/size]
    [size=45]The number of imported containers reached (74.7) thousand containers, while the number of exported containers reached (71.5) containers. These are high rates of container handling that our ports witnessed during the month of last January.[/size]
    [size=45]The increase in revenues comes in line with the plans that aimed to rehabilitate the infrastructure and new projects in most Iraqi ports, which reflected positively on the performance and port works and the increase in revenues achieved.[/size]
    [size=45]Iraqi ports are witnessing continuous development processes through a plan drawn up by the management of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, which aims to maximize state revenues and provide job opportunities for young people, while using modern technology to transform them towards globalization and make them on the level of smart ports.[/size]
