Mawazine News - Baghdad

The Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, called on the government to take advantage of the truce period granted by the resistance factions and work to remove the American forces.

Al-Amiri said in a press conference followed by Mawazine News: “The resistance axis has great confidence in Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani to remove foreign forces from Iraq, indicating that achieving full Iraqi sovereignty is linked to the departure of foreign forces.”

He added, "The current government must work with full transparency on the issue of removing foreign forces, led by the American forces, from Iraqi territory, pointing out that the government must exploit the golden opportunity given by the resistance factions and work to remove the American forces."

He pointed out that "it is very necessary to reach a known and agreed-upon timetable between the Iraqi and American parties to end this brutal presence."
