    [size=45]The State of Kuwait condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Kormor gas field in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.[/size]
    [size=45]The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “The State of Kuwait condemns the terrorist attack that targeted a gas field in the Kurdistan region in the Republic of Iraq using drones, which led to a number of casualties and injuries.”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement affirmed, “The State of Kuwait rejects all forms of terrorism, regardless of their perpetrators and whatever their purposes,” stressing “Kuwait’s solidarity with the Iraqi government in taking all measures and means to preserve Iraq’s security and stability, while calling once again on the international community to unite and cooperate to refute aspects of terrorism and violence.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued, "The Ministry also conveys the sincere condolences and sympathy of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Iraq and to the families of the victims, and its wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured."[/size]
    [size=45]The day before yesterday, Friday, the Security Media Cell announced directives from the government to form an investigative committee to target “Kormor,” while revealing the toll and nationality of the victims.[/size]
    [size=45]The cell said in a statement, “Based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Joint Operations Command formed a technical investigation committee to find out the circumstances of the sabotage attack that was carried out by a drone and targeted the Kormor gas field in the Qadir Karam district of Sulaymaniyah Governorate at 19:15 on Friday, and caused “Two people died and two others were injured, all of whom were Asian nationalities.”[/size]
    [size=45]She added, “While we condemn this sinful attack on Iraq’s economic wealth, we affirm that the aggressors will receive their just punishment for these attacks that attempt to harm the national economy and affect the wheel of progress and development that Iraq is witnessing.”[/size]
