    Mustafa Falih:
The economic expert, Safwan Qusay, explained the advantages and positives of optional insurance for workers in the private sector and also for the state, while confirming that it will gradually contribute to withdrawing demand from the public job to the private job.
Qusay said in an interview with “Al-Zawraa”: “The process of reassuring the private sector that
the rights of workers under it are preserved through the security fund according to the option of the member who works in the private sector and wants to obtain retirement like workers in the public sector. He must open a file for the type of work that he does.” And what is the value of the deductions that he desires in order to obtain retirement after the end of his life in the same work, or he can transfer these deductions to another job according to the option of the member, and if he does not want to retire, he can avoid the process of paying the dues.”
He pointed out that “artisanal work such as groceries, butchers, and taxis do not have rights after the end of their working life, so they must think in the future by paying a specific amount of deductions through which they can obtain security after being referred for retirement in the same work.” “It is an option for the taxpayer.”
He stressed that “such an issue will activate the private sector and reduce the demand for public employment because one of the reasons for the demand for public employment is retirement, and amending this law and legislating the security law for workers in the private sector will gradually contribute to withdrawing demand from public employment to private employment in all sectors.”
He stressed that “the decision has now entered into force and any employee can review the Social Security Department and recognize the income and type of work he does. There are a set of procedures through which he knows the type of deductions and the amount of deductions and determines the type of retirement and the value of retirement in the future within the same conditions under which workers work in.” The government sector,” pointing out that “it is a future outlook because the nature of work and its conditions are changing. It is a positive future outlook and is one of the most important reasons for the existence of this law and its legislation.”
He pointed out, “The possibility of these people being included later in a piece of land and the possibility of investing in another job because there is a specific database for workers in the private sector who are not currently registered. There is a regular private sector whose workers are registered and have normal rights, but there is an informal private sector that is not registered. The legislator decided that It motivates these people to register in order to know who the unemployed actually are and what is the possibility of investing them in other places and acquiring skills according to the nature of the work.”
He explained, “The process of economic regulation requires such data and targeting the system with subsidies as well. There will be a system that actually identifies the classes that do not work and do not have limited income, and thus we can track the movement of work and the movement of money, add value to workers, and guarantee their rights and the rights of their families in the future, even if they die.” This year, the family to which he belongs has retirement rights, just like his peers in the government sector.”[/size]
