The media office of the Presidency of the Kurdistan Government said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, “The Prime Minister’s meetings during his visit will address the latest developments on the political and security arenas in Iraq, and will emphasize resolving the outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government.”
The office added, "Securing the salaries of the citizens of the Kurdistan region and ensuring their financial rights and entitlements are among the most prominent issues that will be raised during the meetings, as well as discussing strengthening cooperation and joint coordination, in a way that guarantees security and stability for Iraq and the Kurdistan region."
