Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, Muhammad Kazem Al-Sadiq, stressed the strong bonds of brotherhood between the Iranian and Iraqi peoples.
During his meeting with members of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate in Najaf, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Ambassador Al Sadiq appreciated the wide sympathy of the Iraqi people for the Iranian people after the martyrdom of the late Iranian president and his companions in the presidential helicopter crash, and stressed the strong bonds of brotherhood between the two peoples and the consolidation of this relationship.
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq stated, in this media meeting organized by the Iranian Consulate General in Najaf, that supporting the territorial integrity of Iraq and achieving stability and economic prosperity in it constitute the three main components of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran towards its neighbor Iraq.
Ambassador Al Sadiq stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between the media in the two countries.
For his part, Iyad Al-Jubouri, head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate in Najaf Al-Ashraf, pointed to the ties and commonalities between the two countries, Iran and Iraq, and described the relationship between the two peoples as a distinctive and exemplary relationship.
Al-Jubouri described the embassy and consulates of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq as a home for Iraqi media professionals.
He also considered Iranian-Iraqi media cooperation necessary, and affirmed the readiness of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate in Najaf to serve the visitors and work with every effort to highlight the greatness of the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
