The Mayor of Ramadi District in Anbar Governorate, Ibrahim Al-Awsaj, announced today, Saturday, the start of procedures for converting houses built on agricultural lands into land titles and authorizing the Agriculture Division to do this task.
Al-Awsaj told Al-Maalouma Agency, "A committee from Ramadi district has begun the process of inventorying the requests of citizens who built their homes on agricultural lands and who have agricultural contracts concluded with the agricultural departments in Ramadi city and other Anbar cities in preparation for changing the type of their lands from agricultural to pure title deed, after collecting symbolic sums of money."
He added, "The ownership process will be free of red tape, as the formed committees have completed six thousand and 221 plots of land that will be owned by citizens in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 320 of 2023."
He continued, "Anbar is the first governorate that began the process of implementing the decision to convert agricultural lands into pure title deeds." Ended/12a
