    [size=45]The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, confirmed that he provides his full support to preserve the security and stability of Iraq, and seeks to strengthen its relations with its Arab surroundings.[/size]
    [size=45]The Arab Parliament said in a statement that “Al-Asoumi received Qahtaan Taha Khalaf Al-Janabi, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, at the headquarters of the Arab Parliament in Cairo, where he expressed his sincere congratulations on assuming his new position, wishing him further success and fulfillment in the tasks entrusted to him.”[/size]
    [size=45]According to the statement, Al-Asoumi stressed “the Arab Parliament’s full support for Iraq in maintaining its security and stability, and striving to strengthen its relations with its Arab surroundings, especially since Iraq is about to host the Arab summit scheduled for next year 2025,” stressing that “Iraq represents a pivotal and important country in the system of joint Arab action.”[/size]
    [size=45]In turn, the Iraqi ambassador stressed, according to the statement, “Iraq’s keenness to strengthen and develop its relations with Arab countries, in a way that achieves the interests of Iraq and its Arab brothers, as well as benefiting from Arab capabilities and expertise in developing infrastructure and investment in Iraq.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, "Security and stability are an absolute necessity to achieve economic and developmental renaissance, and that Iraq is making every effort to bring the views of regional parties closer together, in a way that helps maintain security and stability in the region," stressing "Iraq's support for the efforts of the Arab Parliament in achieving the interests and aspirations of the great Arab people."[/size]
