The Council of Ministers decided, on Tuesday, to approve increasing the reserve amount and the total cost of a number of stalled projects.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement, seen by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "Al-Sudani chaired the thirty-second regular session of the Council of Ministers today, Tuesday," noting that "the session discussed the most important topics and general issues, followed up on the implementation of the government program's targets, and various issues and files on the agenda."
He added, "In the context of government efforts to complete stalled and suspended projects, and to proceed with infrastructure projects, the Council of Ministers approved increasing the reserve amount and the total cost of the following projects:
1- Project (establishing a 100-bed hospital in Safwan district).
2- Project (Completion of the remaining works of the Aziziyah Networks Project / Wasit Governorate).
3- Al-Aziziyah/Wasit Sewerage Project.
4- The projects (establishing the Deanship of the College of Veterinary Medicine) and (completing the construction of halls and laboratories of the College of Veterinary Medicine) are among the components of the project (Buildings of the College of Veterinary Medicine/Tikrit University).
5- Project (Buildings of the College of Veterinary Medicine / Tikrit University).
6- The project (Completion of the halls of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics), one of the components of the project (Completion of the buildings of Computer Science).
7- Modifying the cost of the component (Developing the Baghdad-Baqubah entrance), one of the components of the project (Rehabilitation and Development of the Capital Entrances within the Boundaries of the Baghdad Municipality).
8- Creating 4 components: (communications conflicts for the Baghdad-Baqubah entrance), (water conflicts for the Baghdad-Baqubah entrance), (electricity conflicts for the Baghdad-Baqubah entrance), and (sewage conflicts for the Baghdad-Baqubah entrance).
