    Information / Baghdad..
Today, Saturday, Iraqi Parliament member Hussein Al-Saabari considered foreign interference in the work of the legislative authority, specifically the amendment of Personal Status Law No. 188 of 1959, as unacceptable.

Al-Saabari told Al-Maalouma Agency that there are interferences by foreign embassies in the work of the legislative authority, indicating that the legislation of the law has become a national and legal challenge.
He added, "The House of Representatives rejects foreign interference emanating from some embassies."
He confirmed that there were attempts to obstruct the amendment of the law, noting that the House of Representatives is not affected by foreign agendas or embassies. End/25H
