[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The work of the Iraqi-Spanish Joint Committee began this Monday morning, in its thirteenth session, headed by Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi.
The Minister of Transport said, according to a statement by the ministry: "Iraq has regained its leading role regionally and internationally through the major transformation in the economic and trade policy of the Sudanese government."
He added: "The Iraqi government has begun working to adopt a policy of economic openness to the countries of the world, in addition to maximizing the role of the private sector in the economic development process," indicating: "Iraq is witnessing a qualitative shift today by investing its geographical location in the development road project that aims to achieve economic integration between the countries of the region."
Al-Saadawi pointed out: "Iraq is linked to friendly Spain by historical relations dating back to the seventies of the last century, framed by the bilateral agreement for cooperation in various fields." / End9[/rtl]
