Minister of Health: Egyptian offers to build new hospitals

Minister of Health Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi revealed that Egyptian companies have submitted several offers to build hospitals in Iraq.
Al-Hasnawi told Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the second edition of the World Conference on Population, Health and Human Development, which was held in Cairo yesterday, Monday: "I informed the conference members about what has been done in Iraq regarding human development, and what is related to infrastructure through the construction of schools, hospitals, universities, health centers and other infrastructure."
He added, "We also fully reviewed the Iraqi state's projects in the field of energy, increasing the national income of the Iraqi individual, and what has been done in the Ministry of Health through modernizing the health system."
Al-Hasnawi indicated that "he met with a delegation representing Egyptian companies producing medicines and medical supplies to organize the import of Egyptian medicines to Iraq, and held another meeting with the Medicines and Medical Supplies Authority."
