14 questions for displaced people in the population census

The General Authority for Statistics and Geographic Information Systems in the Ministry of Planning has set (14) options for the displaced in the general population and housing census form, which will be on the (20)th of next November. The
Executive Director of the Census, Ali Aryan Al-Saadi, told Al-Sabah that "the world follows two methods for counting the population, which are theoretical and actual," noting that "Iraq will adopt the theoretical method during the general population and housing census that will be conducted on the twentieth of next November." He added that "the displaced and immigrants who left their original places of residence due to the terrorist gangs of "ISIS" will be counted in the same places and areas in which they live now, as the census form will include some indicators related to development."
Al-Saadi pointed out that "some of these displaced people have put pressure on the areas to which they have been displaced, whether in terms of services or infrastructure," noting that "the form will contain (14) questions, including: Is the citizen a resident in this place or not? How long has he been residing in the place? Where did he live before coming to this place? And other questions."
The executive director continued that "this electronic census will be the last, as happened in advanced countries to shift in the coming years to a registered census by linking ministries such as health, education and upbringing to the Internet, which depends entirely on the numbers it shows of births, deaths, migration or admission to universities and schools."
