    Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani stressed that the government has placed the anti-corruption file among its work priorities, and while stressing the need for coordination between the executive, legislative and judicial authorities in the anti-corruption file, he pointed out the government's progress in the growth of the oil and gas sectors.
    This comes in conjunction with the passage of two years since the government of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani gained confidence in the House of Representatives, after which work began according to the ministerial program and government program, so that various sectors would witness clear growth, according to an official statement.
    The Prime Minister's media office stated in a statement: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received the Chairman of the Integrity Committee in the House of Representatives, Ziad Tariq Al-Janabi, the Chairman of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, Ammar Subhi Khalaf, the Chairman of the Integrity Commission, Mohammed Ali Al-Lami, the Deputy Chairman of the Karkh Court of Appeal, specializing in integrity cases, Judge Diaa Jaafar, and the Deputy Chairman of the Rusafa Court of Appeal, specializing in integrity cases, Judge Ayad Mohsen Damd, in the presence of the Prime Minister's Advisor for Anti-Corruption Affairs, Mu'ayyad Al-Saadi.
    He added that during the meeting, the steps taken in the field of combating financial and administrative corruption were discussed, and the level of progress witnessed in this file at the level of programs and procedures adopted by the government within its targets.
    The Prime Minister stressed, according to the statement, that the file of combating corruption in all state institutions requires continuous coordination and integration in work between the executive, legislative and judicial authorities, noting that the outputs of the work of the oversight agencies are the inputs according to which the courts operate, which confirms the importance of integrating roles, efficient performance, achieving the principle of accountability and preventing the corrupt from escaping punishment.
    He indicated that the government has placed the file of combating corruption among its work priorities, and realized early the seriousness of this file and its impact on other sectors, and it continues to pay the required attention to it, develop mechanisms to reduce corruption, support oversight agencies and enable them to perform their role, to ensure the rule of law, and build trust with the citizen.
    Meanwhile, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani stressed that the government is proceeding with the growth of the oil and gas sectors. The Prime Minister's media office stated in a statement received by: The Prime Minister received the Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Distribution Affairs.
    During the meeting, the Prime Minister referred to the government's previous plans for the growth of the oil and gas sectors and the development of their projects within the government program, through licensing rounds in which contracts were signed to invest in many oil and gas fields, in addition to investing in associated gas projects and oil derivatives production projects.
    The statement added that with regard to cooperation with the OPEC Plus group, the importance of partnership with oil-producing countries was emphasized; with the aim of maintaining the stability and balance of global oil markets, and Iraq's commitment to what was agreed upon within the group, including voluntary cuts and compensation for the increase in production, according to the updated schedule submitted by the Ministry of Oil to OPEC.[/size]
