The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by Sumarya News, "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani chaired, today, a meeting of the Service and Engineering Effort Team, where the implementation of complementary and emergency projects in Baghdad and the governorates for the year 2024 was followed up, in addition to reviewing the general framework plan for the team's projects during the year 2025."
Al-Sudani stressed "the importance of the team's efforts targeting projects that are not included in the work of ministries, governorates or municipal departments, in order to overcome costs and avoid overlapping tasks between executive bodies," directing "to identify suitable lands for constructing school buildings, complete the original approvals and transfer them to the Iraq Development Fund, to complete them according to the approved mechanisms and shorten time and effort."
He pointed out "the importance of targeting main roads, water projects and infrastructure, with the best guidance, and in the path of achieving the best benefits within the approved allocations, within the framework of striving to achieve the service that the citizen feels, and that constitutes a priority in his needs and daily use."
